Redemption Counseling, LLC
Privacy Policy
How this website handles the information you give us, and what we do not do with it.
Last updated September 21, 2026
What this policy covers
This policy explains what happens to information collected through redemptioncounselingok.com. It applies to the website only.
It is not a substitute for the Notice of Privacy Practices you receive when you become a client. Your clinical record, what is said in session, and anything else connected to your care are covered by that notice and by state and federal law, not by this page.
Information you give us
We only receive what you choose to send. That usually means:
- Your name, email address and phone number when you use the contact form
- Whatever you decide to write in the message field
- Any details you include when you email or call us about an appointment
Please do not use the website form to send detailed health information. It is a convenience for getting in touch, not a secure clinical channel. Anything sensitive is better said on the phone or once you are set up as a client.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, this one records basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device type, the pages you look at, and the general location your internet provider reports. That data is aggregated and is not used to work out who you are as an individual.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. This site may use them to keep it working properly and to understand which pages people actually read.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Some parts of the site may behave differently if you do.
How the information gets used
- To answer your message or return your call
- To schedule and manage appointments
- To keep the website running, secure and reasonably useful
- To meet legal, licensing and professional obligations
What we do not do with it
We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it. We do not hand your contact details to advertisers, and we do not use the fact that you visited a particular page on this site to target you with anything.
Service providers
Running a website means other companies are involved. Hosting, email delivery, form handling, scheduling and website analytics are all provided by third parties, and they may process information on our behalf in order to do that work.
Where a provider handles information connected to your care, we expect the agreements and safeguards that the law requires for that kind of information.
Email, text and telehealth
Ordinary email and text messages are not secure and are not private by default. Use them for scheduling and logistics, not for anything you would not want read by somebody else.
Telehealth appointments are conducted through a platform intended for that purpose, and the specifics are covered in the paperwork you complete before your first session.
How long information is kept
Website enquiries are kept only as long as they are useful for responding to you and for our own records. Clinical records are a separate matter and are retained for the period required by Oklahoma law and by professional licensing rules.
Your choices
You can ask what contact information we hold for you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and you can tell us to stop contacting you at any time. Use the details at the bottom of this page.
Requests about your clinical record follow a different process, which your counselor will walk you through.
Children
This website is written for adults. We do not knowingly collect information through the site from a child under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information through this website, contact us and we will remove it.
Counseling for minors is arranged by a parent or guardian, and consent for treatment is handled at intake rather than through this website.
Links to other websites
This site links out to other places, including crisis resources and organizations we refer to. Once you follow one of those links you are on somebody else's website, under somebody else's privacy policy, and we have no control over what they do.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information this website collects. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, and we cannot promise otherwise, which is exactly why the contact form is not the place for detailed personal health information.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the practice or the website changes. The date at the top of the page is the date of the current version, and using the site after an update means the updated version applies.
