What To Expect At Intake

A few things happen before your first appointment. None of them are complicated, and knowing about them ahead of time makes the first visit easier on everybody.

The Intake Appointment

Redemption Counseling provides affordable, professional counseling for qualifying adults, couples, families, and children ages 7 to 17. Our aim is that money never becomes the reason a person goes without care.

Various insurance plans are accepted here. Call before your first appointment so we can check yours and tell you where you stand.

Everyone age 12 and older who will take part in counseling attends the intake appointment. For clients under 18 in the State of Oklahoma, a custodial parent or legal guardian must be present as well.

These guidelines exist so the first hour is useful. Sorting out the basics up front means the actual work starts sooner.

Forms and Paperwork

Your intake forms have to be filled out before the appointment. A team member reaches out beforehand and emails them to you, so nothing arrives as a surprise.

Appointments without completed forms get placed on hold. Sending them back as soon as they land keeps your time slot where it is.
