We are a group of licensed counselors in Tulsa working with children, teens, adults, couples, and families, in person at our office or by telehealth anywhere in Oklahoma. Some of us specialize in trauma and EMDR, others in marriage work, autism, ADHD, or women’s mental health. Here is what we believe and how we work.
A Place to Begin Again
The Hope Our Name Is Built On
Our name comes from our hope in Jesus Christ and the truth that we are redeemed through Him. As Ephesians 1:7 puts it, "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace." No one is defined by their past, their pain, their mistakes, or their circumstances, and your life holds deep value and purpose.
If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or discouraged, whether that is anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, or a strained marriage, you do not have to face it on your own. Sometimes healing begins by simply taking the next step and letting someone walk alongside you. Our Christian foundation shapes who we are, and our doors are open to individuals, couples, and families of every background and belief. Faith is woven into the work only if you want it there, and we would be honored to support you, encourage you, and partner with you.

Licensed Professional Counselor, LPC, and Founder
Kristi Patovisti
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Oklahoma, and I am passionate about creating a safe, compassionate space where you can feel seen, heard, and supported. My approach is rooted in empathy, compassion, and hope, and I believe deeply in the possibility of redemption, healing, and meaningful change.
A Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Oral Roberts University came first, followed by certification in Special Education in Oklahoma, then a return to Oral Roberts for a Master's in Counseling. Education and counseling together gave me a real appreciation for the many different ways people experience, process and navigate life.
Each person's story matters to me, and walking alongside clients is an honor. That means coming to understand their experiences, naming the patterns that keep them stuck, and taking meaningful steps toward healing and lasting freedom. For clients who want it, Biblical principles and a Christian perspective become part of that process.
Trauma and church hurt are where my passion sits in particular. As an EMDR clinician, I help clients process painful experiences that still shape how they feel, think, relate to others and move through life today.

Above all, I want counseling to be a place where you feel welcomed and supported as you move toward greater healing, hope, and the life you were created to live.

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Author
Dr. Roselene Coblentz
We all have stories that need mending and tending as we journey through life. There is great value in having someone who journeys with you, honoring your story with a sacred, safe space. The invitation of Jesus to enter into those stories creates a healing that lasts a lifetime. God promises that He comes close to the brokenhearted and the crushed in spirit, and that it is His heart to bind, tend, and mend our wounds.
As a licensed therapist, I have been in private practice for 20 years, doing story work with adults, men and women and couples, on so many different stories. It is an honor to journey with someone in their wounded story and to help them find their way back to wholeness and wellbeing. The rescue for restoration and redemption is a real reality.
Hurting in silence is not something you have to keep doing, and carrying it alone was never the point. You and your story are a worthy endeavor and a worthy pursuit, and you are worthy of healing for everything your heart and body have held onto. For such a time as this, say yes to you and to all the hope, help and healing that is available for you.
I have authored two books, Daily Habits of Intimacy with God and Daily Habits of Marital Intimacy. Both can be ordered on Amazon. I also teach workshops on the Intimacy of Jesus, Healing Pieces of Your Story, and Marriage Renewal.

Licensed Professional Counselor
Haley Pettingell
Hi, I'm Haley. I love working with couples and with women who are ready for things to feel different. Maybe your relationship feels disconnected, communication has become difficult, trust has been broken, or you have lost sight of yourself while trying to hold everything together. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to figure it out alone.
My passion is helping couples improve communication, work through conflict, and strengthen their connection. I also provide affair recovery and support couples healing after infidelity. For women, I offer a space to slow down, process what is weighing on you, and build greater confidence and peace in your life.
Starting therapy can feel a little intimidating, and that is completely okay. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. There is no pressure to have the right words or to have everything figured out.

Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Julia Sullivan
I'm Julia, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Oklahoma. Helping people move through life's challenges with compassion, curiosity and hope is what drew me to this work. Healing, in my experience, begins inside a relationship where you feel understood, supported and empowered to grow.
My approach is collaborative and rooted in your lived experience. Meeting you where you are comes first, and therapy gets shaped around your needs and your goals. Women and adults navigating transitions, identity shifts and the pressures that come with a changing season of life are who I work with most.
One size fits all has never been how I practice. Our work takes the shape of whatever feels most supportive and meaningful to you, and it shifts as your needs shift.
Walking alongside clients is a privilege, whether they are facing something hard, strengthening their relationships, or reconnecting with resilience, clarity and hope.

We can't change the past, but we can grow in understanding ourselves and move toward healing with more intention and freedom.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can anyone at Redemption prescribe medication?
No. Counselors and clinical social workers do not prescribe, so medication would come from your primary care doctor or a psychiatrist. If medication seems worth exploring, your counselor can talk it through with you and, with your permission, coordinate with the provider who does prescribe, so the two sides of your care are not working in isolation.
Do I need to know what I want to work on before my first session?
No. Plenty of people come in able to say only that something feels off, or that they are tired in a way sleep does not fix. Figuring out what is actually going on is part of the work, not a prerequisite for it. Your counselor will ask questions and help you put language to it.
Is there anything you do not treat?
Yes, and we would rather tell you up front than take you on and do it poorly. Severe eating disorders need specialty certification we do not have, and we refer those to Laureate. If what you bring is outside what our training covers, we will say so and point you toward someone equipped for it.
What should I do if I am in crisis and the office is closed?
Redemption Counseling does not provide emergency or after hours care. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For a mental health crisis in the Tulsa area, COPES is a free, confidential 24 hour crisis line and mobile crisis service at 918.744.4800, and the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is available nationwide by call or text. Reach out to us during business hours and we will pick things up from there.
Is what I share in session confidential?
Yes. What you share stays between you and your counselor, including the fact that you are a client. Oklahoma law carries a few narrow exceptions, mainly when someone is in danger of serious harm, when abuse of a child or vulnerable adult is disclosed, or when a court orders records released. Your counselor will explain those limits at the start.
