Our Services
Counseling Services in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Here is how we work, so you can decide if it sounds like the right kind of help.
Some people arrive knowing exactly what they are after, an EMDR therapist, a Christian counselor, an assessment for a child. Others only know that something has to change. These are fine places to start. Below is a plain look at what we offer and how each one actually works.
Different tools, not different tiers
What Our Counseling Services Have in Common
An EMDR session, a Christian counseling session, and an assessment are not rungs on a ladder where one of them is the serious version. They are different ways of working, chosen for what is in front of you.
What sits underneath every one of them is the same. A counselor licensed in Oklahoma, time taken to hear your story before anything gets recommended, and a plan shaped around you rather than pulled off a shelf. We do not do rushed, and we do not do one size fits all.
You do not have to pick one before you call. Choosing the approach is your counselor's job, and it is part of what the first conversation is for.

The people behind the services
Meet Our Tulsa Counselors
Four counselors, each licensed in Oklahoma and each carrying their own training. Which services fit you depends partly on who you see, and sorting that out is what the first conversation is for.

How to Start Counseling With Redemption
Three steps, and none of them ask you to have it figured out first. Starting therapy can feel a little intimidating, and that is completely okay.
01
Reach out
Call 918.764.8006 or book the free 15-minute consultation. Nothing is committed at this point. You are telling us what you are looking for and asking whatever you need to ask.
02
Get matched with a counselor
There are four of us, and we carry different training. We listen to what you are working through and put you with the counselor who fits it, rather than whoever has the next opening.
03
Begin the work
In person at our Tulsa office on South Yale Avenue, or by telehealth anywhere in Oklahoma. Your counselor takes time to understand your story before recommending an approach.
We are not an emergency service. If you are in crisis, call COPES at 918.744.4800 or dial 988.

Need Help? We’ve Got Answers

Can I use more than one of these services at the same time?
Yes. These are not separate tracks. Our founder, for example, is EMDR trained and also integrates Biblical principles for clients who want that, so one counselor can do both across the same course of work. What gets combined, and when, is a clinical decision your counselor makes with you.
Can I ask for a specific approach, or does my counselor decide?
You can ask, and it helps to say what you are hoping for. Whether it is the right starting point is a clinical judgment, so your counselor may suggest something else first and tell you why. If a particular approach matters to you, raise it in the consultation so we match you with someone trained in it.
Do you offer group counseling, or is it all one to one?
It is one to one, or with your partner or your family in the room. Our workshops and group trainings are a separate offering entirely. Those are professional development and continuing education for organizations, not group therapy sessions for clients.
Does a mental health assessment happen before counseling starts, or during it?
Neither by default. Assessments are provided when they are clinically appropriate, meaning your counselor recommends one if it would clarify symptoms, support an accurate diagnosis, or shape your plan. Plenty of clients never need one. If you do, your counselor goes through the results with you rather than handing you a report.
Are the workshops only for mental health professionals?
Our continuing education partnerships are aimed at organizations serving the Oklahoma mental health community. Events, professional development, and other partnerships can be broader than that. If you are with an organization and wondering whether a training fits, the fastest answer is to call and describe what you have in mind.
